Hello from Colorado

Hi Everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. I don't own any reps yet but will soon. Fortunately there appears to be no shortage of expertise on this forum so I'm sure that will make that process as smooth as silk if I have any questions.

I did however recently purchase an Invicta 4469 for $299 w/shipping and found a promo code for for $20 off to bring the total to $279. It seemed like a good deal at the time but I figure it is just one of many in my future watch collection. My next purchase is gonna be a rep. I would welcome opinions on that purchase as it is not too late to turn back now ;)

Finally, I have to say this is probably the most friendly forum I have ever encountered. It is really welcoming and simply a breath of fresh air compared to many forums I have seen out there. Really makes one (especially us noobies) want to jump in and start participating. :D

Thanks. Actually, I should have mentioned the catalyst for my interest in the world of reps was due to a Christmas present I got from my sister in-law whom had been living in China last year. The watch is a Rolex Daytona Cosmograph with red face, black dials, black bezel and stainless steel band/case. I'm not sure of the movement yet but hopefully will be able to open it up and take a peek inside soon but will likely need help identifying it. However, IMHO it seems like a really good replica but of what, I don't know; I can't seem to find anything like it online. Kind of bummed though as I have already scratched the bezel but what the heck, it wasn't too expensive ;-)

Welcome from Norway mate! I really like it here also, everybody is really friendly:) The Invicta you bought is very nice! For 279$ you got the sellita sw 200 movement which in reality is an ETA 2836-2, so this is a good deal indeed!!
I have an Invicta with the same movement and it is just as good as the ETA!
