Hi, I've been into reps since 2000 but have been hardly on the forums. Back then reps were just reps, there wasn't many "modders" and hobbyist watchmakers who serviced reps. It was mostly a hit or miss, well... at least for me. The industry has indeed evolved... and now we have super reps and extreme mods (some are almost 90% gen!). It is amazing to see all these changes... the quality improvements and the creativity of the Chinese. Now we even have toubillons (tho not as reliable as the real deal, but who's complaining at the price? well ok maybe some complains when it breaks down haha)
At one point I disposed of all my reps I bought in the past... and only bought gens. And now it seems its worth my time to get back in. With reps so close to gens (looks wise of course), the temptation is so great. It is hard to resist not keying my paypal password and sending money somewhere hah.
Well I've been a member longer at RWG but thought hey, I might as well check it out here, seeing that it seems to be more active? I dunno, I'm on one too many forums already... haha alright time to take a look around.
