I haven't been around much for the past two weeks so I see this new geekbux thingie under my avatar. I do a thread search and don't see it mentioned, so I'll be the one to ask...What exactly is geekbux?
They said it was going to be used for raffles, etc... very soon... each of us got 500 to start with...I'm sure a mod will fill in my gaps.

WB technoocrat. Geek bux will basically be used for raffles to start off with. We are considering other ways to use it as well. Its also a good way to encourage users to post so they can see their $$$ increase.
Raffles are the best of fun. You've always got a chance to get something awesome that you normally wouldn't buy.
Stay tuned for some great geekbux promotions.
In the meantime, keep posting and increase your funds!

What's the point scale for these. I've noticed 1 or two people with an absurd amount with only a little in posts.
