Hello, and thank you
I am not quite sure how I stumbled upon RG, but I am so glad I did. I like to say, 99% of the Internet is garbage, but when you find a gem ... it can't be beat.
I have been looking to get a nice rep, Rolex of course! So I began my search at the Internet garbage heap - Google. I found "forums" for replica watches that slammed:
1) watch sale sites
2) watch user forums
3) each other
4) and any other combination you can think of
For the most part, they were bogus, but I had no idea. At least a 1/2 dozen times I was ready to pull the trigger on a watch, but my "spidey senses" were tingling, and I passed. I'm not sure how many scam bullets I dodged, but I am sure more than a few.
I nearly pulled the trigger on a $1000+ Rolex rep ... no kidding. The web rating site was soooo convincing. Combine that with a rep-watch full court jones-ing ... a combo for disaster, for sure.
I found RG (again, I truly have no idea how ... site to site stumbling and bumbling). I read up and absorbed as much information as my pee-brain would allow. I VIP'd myself and found rep-nirvana.
I have a Rolex sub and a Daytona in my sights (and if I can find a Daytona with gold tone and a brown leather strap, I will surely be happy) ... I got PMs out to two trusted dealers, patiently awaiting that return PM that will lighten my wallet.
Thanks to all (too many to name) who have posted great, instructional threads and replies.
Best Regards,
SpaceForThePoppa

For every one of you who've found the light, there are thousands of others, blindly blowing hard earned money on scams. You're out of the woods and in the blue clearing.

Welcome aboard, before you purchase a rep Daytona do some research on RG about rep Daytona's. The movements for a rep Daytona with the seconds at the sub dial at the 6 hour marker are known to be "ticking time bombs".
