Hello hello hello!~
I have bought reps for quite a while now over the internet. But I am just now joining the rep forum community at large.
I have used the reps Ive purchased to try and hobby learn the art of watchsmithing (and just general having fun taking something apart besides the Audio electronics I work with every day).
So now maybe I can finally learn the correct way to mod a watch!

I have navigated the websites and purchased rep watches (both good and very, very bad) over the years.
But now as my business deals primarily with vintage, I have developed the desire to build an accurate and above all reliable vintage Rolex (hopefully a 6263 or maybe 1655,1680, etc) that I am able to wear everyday. And so I felt I needed more knowledge and the forums where the best source.
I would love to purchase a genuine of these but I wouldn't wear them everyday due to thier value. And if I can't wear a watch then it doesnt really have a value to me. Building a rep seems the best bet for me.
Based on what you said above, RepGeek will become your new home.
There are some "franken" vintage rollie builds that will blow your mind how accurate they are and how fantastic they look.
