New member - Josh DRSD
Hello everyone,
I hope you are all well.
I am new to this forum and am just getting into reps. I recently had to sell my gen GMT2c and am a huge fan of vintage sports Rolexes.
I purchased a DRSD from Josh which arrived today (6 days after I ordered it and packaged incredibly well - excellent communication throughout also!!!)
I opted for the $98 version. Things I know need doing, CG shaving, and lug holes drilled with new spring bars.
I have soaked the insert in bleach and removed the pearl to add to that aged look.
Is there anything else glaringly wrong with this watch. The dial markers seem too shiny and yellow and the crystal seems to sit very high indeed. Are there any cheap / easy ways to rectify these problems?
Thanks in advance guys,
I look forward to contributing to these forums more and more!

I have the 1680 DRSD from Josh and the crystal height doesn't seem that bad. The dial markers were too shiny on mine, so I removed the dial and placed it 3 inches away from the bulb of a halogen lamp. Here's how it turned out:
