just wanted to say that this is a GREAT forum for us watch lovers!
I've been involved with a few rep forums on and off for the last few years... I've owned several genuine vintage Rolex sport models , sold my last one 2 yrs back.. due to the economy ETC. the rep world sure has come light years ahead in the last 10-20 years... thats the reason I kept the real stuff for so long because there were really no nice reps back then! I remember when a family member in Thailand told me that the factories were making replica watches from watch brochures as references !!:eek: (that was 20 yrs ago) .. The quality now is unreal (no pun intended) and there is no reason for me to ever own a gen again (well maybe for investment sake) and with great people here with the knowledge to share , and the great dealer's available, there's no risk in getting scammed or over paying! I paid $1,000 for a gold day-date rep 10 years ago ..Swiss grade AAA , triple wrapped gold ETC all BS!! so I know the pain of being scammed! well enough rambling on, Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend !! I don't know of anyone. Heck, I just got back two watches that I had to send out to Speedy, in the "Second City." Waited 2 months, too.

I can't believe that there isn't anyone in Miami/Ft Lauderdale who doesn't service reps, but....

I used to use Devon White in pembroke pines he was a master watchmaker and a Rolex expert, but recently retired and moved back to Jamaica ! he used to do anything you wanted and he was very reasonable!

hey I found this in a older repgeek post:
"Go to the international Jewlery exchange off of Glades just west the turnpike. There is a guy in there, very reasonable. I forgot his name. He is in the ''G" door, its the door farthest north. He is black with a british accent, the booth all the way in the back, it does watch repairs. Believe it or not, up stairs there is a guy who sells some decent reps as well."
