Thank goodness I found this forum. I was 10 min away from purchasing a rep with exactreplicas.com before some common sense hit me and said "HEY DO A LITTLE RESEARCH!!"

Well, I've been reading the forums like they're crack cocaine ( I'm now obsessed...... my poor wife :sorry:)

Anyways, I've decided I'm going to get an Omega Seamaster Chrono from Josh. I find his website easiest for me to understand and order from.

I have some questions, I've read some warnings here about not setting the date when the hour hands are between 10 and 2, :confused: yeah I need to read more. Also, I 'm not planning on using the chronometer, i just like the look. Are there any precautions I should take?

Well, thats it. I've never been a big watch guy, but spending a couple of days reading the forums here and seeing all the beautiful watches out there, well, I'm hooked:D

Dont adjust the hours between 10PM and 2AM its more correct. Safe side just adjust at 6AM :D :D

ITs chrono.. so more precautions against water intrusion. Dont get it wet too often... :D :D

The Asia 7750 can be a little delicate with the date change if you try to adjust it manually near to the time when it would normally change itself so as dtan says, don't adjust the date if the time is between 10PM and 2AM as it can damage the workings.
