Stopping by to say hi
Haven't been online for a while. Why? Well, probably like a lot of others, 3 years ago, when I first involved myself in reps - I spent every spare moment here (or RWI/RWG). Since then, I've learned much and the need to learn more has been pushed to a lesser priority by the need please my clients - work.
In that 3 years, I've accumulated a bunch of watches. AP and Ti PAMs are still my favorites and it's time to start tweaking the ones I want to keep - time to sell the ones I don't want to keep.
Hard to believe I started shooting pictures of ones to sell A YEAR AGO! For whatever reason, I have not posted them. Will do so soon.
So - time to send the APs off to get proper lume and proper secs@12 care, fine tune the CGs on my 176 and 177. Aside from the PAMs and APs, I have a Noobfactory Noobmariner that I wear almost daily. Who would have thought?
My other favorite is one of my first reps and probably my best -a Swiss 7753 Santos Chrono purchased from Angus in 2008 - well before the A7753s were even an idea.
I had a brief infatuation with HBBs, buying one of Dutchman's RGs and a Platmat from his dealer - I've replaced the rotors with engraved rotors. I've never really worn the gold one and I haven't worn the Platmat for many months. I'm not a gold guy - that's for sure but I'm wondering if after all that - do I really like HBB? The Platmat is a great watch -looks great etc.
I have 4 BK AP Royal Oaks - 2 black 2 white that have minor differences.
Other than that - nothing new except that Skunkhead Napolitano and her American Stasi (DHS) closing websites and spying on Internet users disturbs me to no end.
In the coming weeks, I'll try to be a more active member - thanks for a great site.
