long time lurker says hi
thought it was about time i stopped lurking and started posting :)
been interested in watches for a while now and recently treated myself to an omega speedmaster for my 40th birthday and if i'm being honest i'm sort of regretting the purchase.i took a long time making my decision but didn't try that many watches on so i'm now looking at picking up my first rep and hopefully putting bit of a collection together.been looking at a couple of the breitlings which look very good so once i work out which one's for me i'll try to work out how to order one :D
righto, think that's enough for now i'm off to find the stoopid question section cos i've got loads to ask

welcome!!! I've always liked that name,.Buford. glad to have you. i cant imagine regretting the speedmaster. but hang around here very long and you will learn a ton, and become even more addicted. dont be shy, ask lots of questions. theres always someone who will be glad to help. that's the great part of the big blue page, people are happy to help.

thanks for the welcome,
it's not that i regret buying the speedmaster it's just that it cost so much, over £2000.i really wanted an iwc or breitling superocean heritage but my budget wouldn't stretch so i bought what i thought would be a good choice for second best, and that's what it is - not the watch that i really wanted.
well i'm hoping to fix that with some good reps and if i manage to save up enough i'll know better which watch i prefer - i hope :)
thanks again
