Welcome phalanx. Your starting out on top with panerai., You will be very satisfied with them. Lots of into on them here and if you have any questions dont be shy to ask. That is why the fourm is here for.

Welcome to the board! I stumbled on this great place recently and couldn't believe the wealth of info from the hobbyist's and a hardcore rep geeks. When you're ready to make a purchase you'll find the trusted dealers are a pleasure to work with, and there's plenty of great modders here to help you get your rep to as close to 1:1 as possible. Be careful this place is fun and addicting.

phalanx, great to see you here. Enjoy and good to hear you find the site fun and informative. Your post makes it even a bigger family.
As your name says . . . get in formation and prepare for glory!

Welcome from Texas :hi: Make yourself at home here.
-
Thx all
A real warm welcome....
Thing is that a watch to me is also an object of use and (looking @ wrist) abuse. So I also need waterproofing and durability. Makes it damn hard to make a good choice.

1st. Welcome to the board.
2nd. you want waterproofing? you're prolly right...those ****s wont hold forever... get a Planet Ocean....I was swimming with mine. but with all those "coffee" shops and window shopping in the Rossebuurt how in the world do you have time to collect watches? :D
This is my 007 PO. There are many like this but this is mine.

Thx Anubis,
Been reading great things about the PO. I do find the 007 on the seconds a bit tacky tho.
Love the broad arrow on the other hand.
Thinking about the Breit Steelfish tho, the one from PT. Wow... what a beauty and 1000m waterproof.
Let them ****s burst then..... hehee
For the Rossebuurt.... well I got a lovely g/f and daughter :p and I've never been in a coffeeshop. Always let the others buy
Cheers

Also here from Maverick, a fellow country man (NL).
PAM is a good start and then go from Omega to Rolex and then to Breitling.
Start saving money!

Hiya Mav,
Hardest part is to start of with what PAM? 47mm me thinks is too big for my 7 inch wrist.
So a DSN 111H keeps lingering in my mind :)
I am..... ohhh I am
