Sent a couple of emails and no answer for a week...
Have you heard from him these days?
Heard he was really swamped so.. that might be a reason for delaying e-mail replies.
pity...
Got some emails from him last week or so.
He told me had a lot to do :-)
I sent him a watch. It will have been 3 weeks next Friday and nothing from him :-)
He must be indeed very busy, I have been waiting for a reply for one week as well.
Just be patient. :)
I am patient :-) I am used to be answered by him in a day. He spoiled me :-)
same here ;)
Be patient.
Hahaha...try waiting 6 months..... ;-)
Yeah, have been waiting for six weeks, no e-mail response. I am patient, but if I pay the full price I expect the full service which includes reliability, also in terms of communication.
Domi is a trusty guy..period!
But boy, it's annoying when you don't get replies after sending your beloved watch.
Guess he has his resons but he also must understand communication is the only thing we have on this board to build trust.
Domi...leave the watches for one hour and just dive into your mailbox my friend! People are waiting for you.
Hello, I apologize to the guys that I did not answer but the problem is that I get at least 30-40 emails a day and when I start answering, someone goes unanswered :-( (then I have to make repairs so little time and even very little :-( (I will endeavor to answer all
cheers
Domi
Domi ! You are ok !
Happy to hear.
Mine 029b...
Seven weeks waiting for a small job (for $60 + shipping) and absolutely no response apart from the forums isn't acceptable. Can't even get my yet untouched watch back as he doesn't answer. None of the "Trusted Dealers" listed on RG would ever behave like this - that's why they're listed. Domi - Never, ever again.
Must admit... You are right.

Being busy is no excuse for bad service as long as I pay the full price. If he aspires to keep his 'trusted dealer' status he should employ somebody.
domi gets lots of packages and it is quite hard to track those, especially without any information in it. so follow his instructions and youŽll get your packages faster! domi is a very responsible guy and the best watchmaker/modder i know! he built almost every project i ever did with lots of passion and love to detail!
i can understand that it sucks to wait for watch. i have been this road with my frankens many many times... but at the moment he is in the middle of a move and is restoring a whole house by working on all our projects at the same time, so give him a break!
domi is not only a friend to me but also a huge enrichment for the whole community here!
I am understanding what you want to say. The thing is, he must set much more value to his work if he wants to charge people like $60 for a couple of small adjustments. If his house or whatever prevents him from working on watches - which he earns money by - he should find a way to satisfy his customers! I am aware we are in a gray area here, but this does not make it better nor does it justify his behavior. Period. I know there're even more people who have as bad or worse experiences with Domi, some have been waiting for 12 weeks already. No good...
