My tips: The search function is an awesome tool and when that fails the experts here are great for answering questions.

My best advice is be nice whenever possible and if you find yourself in a position where you can offer help to another geek then do so - This forum runs on Karma and there are literally hundreds of great guys and quite literally some of the worlds top experts on varied subjects - It is a brotherhood of guys (and gals) that runs on goodwill (and donations ;))
Treat everyone with respect and NEVER be afraid to ask - There are no stupid questions and if any of us know the answer we love to show how clever we are :lol:
