I think there should be a sticky on how to become a VIP member and its benefits.
There is already...

And btw now you can do it just by clicking on the upgrade to vip link on top of the page.
VIP should be invite only...
I disagree.
I spend a lot of my time on online forums, and not just RG specifically.
That being said, when I wanted to get into the fake watch hobby, I had no idea what I was doing. I bought a BR01-94 and upon receiving it, was disappointed with how big the thing was on my wrist! I never knew a 46mm square face would be so damn gigantic!!
Anyway, I wanted to sell it to a member who would be happy to receive it and not have to deal with the customs issues. Being that I only had 5 or 6 posts at the time, I was not permitted to sell unless I upgraded to VIP.
I think that the main benefit to VIPs of this website is the ability to access the VIP trade forum. I do believe that this trade forum should be invite only and members should have to earn their way in.
Unfortunately for people like myself (<100 posts), the only way we can sell watches we do not like (trial and error) is by upgrading to VIP. If there was another way to confirm the authenticity of a seller with less than 100 posts, I am all for it!! ....but for now, upgrading to VIP is a necessary way to get it done.
I think others would agree with me. I have sold 2 pristine watches here so far and learned a ton, and I am still under 100 posts.
I'm fairly new and just wondering if there is a higher amount of items being sold in the VIP area and whether or not I'm missing out on a lot of interesting trades ... ??
@wallstreet77
The primary reason why I became RG VIP in December 2009 when I first joined RG was to support RG. Having said they the past 15 years on RG I prefer dealing with RG VIP members when it comes to buying a watch on RG, trading a watch on RG, and doing a member to member transaction as I prefer dealing with RG VIP members.
I would never buy a watch, sale, a watch, or trade a watch with a non RG VIP who has zero feedback and low post count.
I recommend you sign up for USD $ 25.00 to become RG VIP.
@daytonadragon Sounds like we wont be doing any business, anytime soon haha. Yeah, I'm considering becoming a VIP member soon, usually the determining factor for me is whether or not I'll be using the forum long term, which I think I will be. Thanks for the feedback and see ya around!
