Hi everyone!
I'm glad to have found his place! I love watches and have been lurking on forums like PMWF and SCTF. While looking for a case to repair a Marina Militare that I bought used a while ago I found this forum by chance. Reading all your posts about mods and reps has been really interesting. I can tell that the you guys love watches too!
I don't own any reps, except for the MM, but some people call that an homage ;-). I've heard great things about guys like davidsen over on PMWF.
I also have an MKII Vantage, which is a beautiful take on the 1016. I also own a gen speedy and an old 16800 transitional with the matte dial and painted indices, lots of waby on that one! I'm about to transform my SKX007 with a MoD dial and sword hands and maybe a watchadoo too.
Now I'm itching for a 112 or a 111h, where's the place to get one of those?
Thanks and I hope to meet all, or at least some of you guys!

Hi Spartan!
Love that film! One of my favorites, you just reminded me that I have to watch it again :D
Like I said I'd like to replace a case on a marina militare, its 44mm and not a destro, got it on the 'bay, the movement runs great but the case is a mess. Anybody sell just cases? I might be persuaded into a new 111h or a 112 though :cheesy:

If you are looking fro something a little less expensive, read good reports on

or Silix.
I have a silix on order, but no watch yet so I cant comment.
Keep watching the thread because I'm a n00b, but the "old hands" will chime in, with their wealth of knowledge.
Lots of really good guys (and girls) here.
