Hello from Florida!!

Hi Guys,

I have been lurking and reading the post for the past month or so.

I want to thank everyone for all the great info.

I was originally looking to buy an IWC 3714 after seeing a Gen at an AD in Aruba last month. I emailed Josh at Perfect Clones, who warned me against such a purchase. After reading about the problems with the movement in the 3714. I decided to look for something different for my first purchase.

I want to commend Josh for being upfront about the known issues with the movement! He seems like a real class act.

Welcome to the forum James. Lots of other choices other than the 3714. Unfortunately, the Seconds @6 issue has been a problem for a long time. There just aren't any rep movements that mimic the IWC movement without added parts that have proven to be pretty unreliable.
