Hi from Belgium!

Hi everybody,

I'm a new member from Belgium (Antwerp) and wanted to say hello :)
I was browsing the site a little and boy, do I feel overwhelmed! So much info... Where to start? I noticed that it's quit easy to find male reps but not so easy to find lady-ones. (and scince I am a girl I kinda need the lady reps :) )
Also I am realy close on ordering from Watch Eden, however, they onley accept Visa or Western Union. I don't have Visa, so my question now is: is it safe to use Western Union?

Hi Stanley, Welcome to the forum!

Yeah, the rep hobby is VERY male dominated. There ARE some nice lady's reps available, but nowhere near as many as men's watches. You should have no problems using Western Union. I personally haven't bought anything from Watch Eden, but I've used Western Union with no problems buying from Puretime. And Angus at Puretime USUALLY gives a 10% discount if you pay that way.

If you want to learn some about how the rep industry works from the inside I'd recommend that you read this thread: http://www.repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=181150

It will give you an insight into some of the issues that come up when ordering. I really wouldn't worry about ordering from ANY of our Trusted Dealers though. Almost all of them have been providing great service to the forum members for years.

Thank you for the advice. At the moment I'm checking out Andrew's site (trusty time) but I'll check pure time for sure!
Also, thx for the input on WU. The media here always say that people get ripped off that way. That's why I didn't feel ok with it at first :-)
