Another from the uk!
Well, never introduced myself on a forum before, but I think I want to get involved a bit her, it's not too busy, and I think I might have found a new hobby, although the imminent baby might cause a little delay!
I'm Alex, from york in the north of England, a lovely area. I'm car obsessed, have a period correct lightly modified triumph spitfire in the garage that my dad bought new in 1973, the year I was born.
We bought a big house/project about 4 years ago that is now pretty near complete, so I need something to keep my idle hands busy, or the devil's gonna get involved!
Watchwise, I like 'em! Had a fake Rollie date just when I was 15! So I have 'form' Got my grandads old avia that I had restored as a dress watch, lovely thing (sentimental I know, he was so proud of it) my daily is either a cheap Casio digi or a Seiko kinetic, my smart watch is a 1972 Omega automatic.
So I know nothing, but I'm keen, and pretty useful with my hands so looking forward to learning new skills, and having some fun.
If it's illegal it's probably gonna be enjoyable!
Are you still reading? Wow, well thanks:p

Well, that's what I call a proper introduction. Never owned a vintage car but having one in your birth year sounds wicked cool. ;)
Welcome to your new found obssession. I guess it's something to keep you occupied while you keep watch over the incoming addition to the family. :D

Hi,
Watches & Classic cars - I share the same love.
Spitfire's are nice. My dad used to own and race a Triumph TR3a so I was brought up around classics.
I own a MK2 Golf Gti myself :-)
Watches - I'm just about to take the plunge on a rep as I love big bold watches (without the expense though).
Hoping someone can point me in the direction of some UK or EU sellers.
