is it me or has this summer been way hotter than it typically is? im in pompano and the heat and humidity hits you as soon as you go out.

Spent the day at the beach...not wearing my ROOD 4.1 :)
PB Co also and it's even too hot to go to the beach. I got no motivation to do anything outside.

Sea water is much, much warmer in Florida than California, so if you want to spend much time in the water Florida is best, but California has milder air temperatures.
Here in Miami as well. This summer has been brutal!!!

California beaches are not are warm as people think, especially during summer. California coast gets 'June Gloom' that can last thru July and August in many places. It's a morning fog the cools the coast and doesn't burn off until into the afternoon. It acts as a sort of air conditioning for some inland areas.Quote:

Every summer in S. Fla. I say it has to be the hottest summer ever, but after 21 summers here, I have finally come to the realization that it's just really f#king hot and humid every single summer. And now it's August to boot!
