Hello from somewhere colder than Alaska...Connecticut! :-)

Hello everyone, greetings from Connecticut!

I join the Forum a few months ago and I am embarrassed to say that I did not know what to say :-)

My name is Turkish but I am a US Citizen and work for a Business School in New York City. I have lived in Belgium, Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Japan, Zimbabwe and a little in Turkey...I used to work for Unicef and UNHCR...

I now work in New York but travel all over the globe and I go several times a year to Beijing. I have seen many reps in China and none of the ones you see in the markets are anywhere near the quality of the ones you get from the TDs here on Repgeek. I bought MANY bad ones during my travels in the past and will only buy from the TDs from now on. I just received an amazing AP Royal Oak Diver FC V3 from Angus and I am a very happy man with the watch and the whole experience with Puretime :-). I will try to post a feedback/mini review in the next few days if I am allowed to do so as a newcomer.

I have been collecting gens since the mid 1980s but these reps are of amazing quality and so much more fun :-)
In addition to watches, we can talk about guitars, guns, cars...the usual :-)

Thank you very much for your kind replies. I know, there are places way colder than CT, you guys are the real deal. Here, we are not used to that this kind of weather...even the trains stopped running! :-) It is still not as bad at DC where they close the whole city for 3 inches of snow...
