Good to see you Ace.

You will surely like it here.
Cheers and again, Welcome!
glad to have you aboard!!
Welcome!
Because I cannot afford a real one, ha...and I have been debating on purchasing a Replica. It appears that TrustyTime88.com is a reputable website from all the posts I've read....I just cant quite pull the trigger on purchasing a replica yet....I am looking hard into the Brietlings, Chopard and Rolex replica's though.....It's that whole uncertainty factor as to the quality of watch I will receive that is holding me back......
Thanks for the welcome guys!
trusty is a legit and good guy...
but read around, seems that a lot of people also like the BK-modified rolex reps...
they're supposedly closer to the gen than "off the shelf" josh or andrew
After looking at a genuine Submariner and having a heavily modded rep for about one year before I've made the ultimate decision and ordered a genuine.
Actually there is not a super rep Rolex. All Rolex reps I've seen so far had multiple flaws and just not the genuine feel.
I agree that there are many reps one can have a lot of fun with. But not with a rolex rep. Even these "perfect", "ultimate" and "super" reps have so many so obvious parts that just look wrong that any guy beeing into watches will know that it is a fake.
There are a lot of good Breitling and Panerai reps, but don't buy a Rolex rep.
A noobmariner is nice, quite good watch for the money. From distances about 2 metres it will have the look of a genuine, but on your wrist it won't. And it does not have a genuine feel, not the genuine quality.
A noobmariner is a nice cheap watch, but quite expensive for a rep, as it just is a bad to average rep and not as good as many other reps for the money.
Be patient, save your money, buy a used Submarine NoDate (14060M) from the mid 90s and you'll get a watch that will stay with you for the rest of your entire life. You should get one for about $3,300 ...
IMHO any money spent on a Rolex rep is wasted money as they aren't any good rolex reps in a price range that does not allow buying a cheaper genuine model (e.g. the genuine NoDate sub instead of a $4,500 rep of a vintage seadweller using a genuine movement).
To all above, thanks for the different opinions listed above. I think my first replica will be a Chopard / Gran Turismo XL / Asia 21J from TT88. I like that this has a rubber strap, also like the face alot and the round magnifier. Anyone have any comments to share about this model?
Thanks!
Ace
Welcome Ace..............
nice collection
nice collection i have a mixture of gens and reps and well the moded sub is my favorite watch that sees the most wrist time
Buy a Panerai 183H with Swan neck!! Actually, I think there might be a good deal on one here on the forum.
Let me see...YUP!! Here is the link

Get a Bell and Ross!!!!!
I actually have been looking at those Bell and Ross', but I think the case diameter is a bit to small for my taste. I personally like my watches to be 45mm or bigger, the only exception to that would be to get a rolex, but that is one of the major things that gets to me, is the case size being so small for the rolexes.....Thanks for the idea though...

The do quite a lot of nice Rolex reps, but they are that expensive, that a cheaper genuine Rolex wouldn't be any more expensive. But those vintage Daytona reps are just wunderful... could be one of my next investments :)
You're right saying that a noobmariner has a lot of bang for the buck, but IMHO only for a watch, not for a Rolex rep. Any cent spent on a bad rep was too much for me. When buying a rep one should be sure to buy something accurate with high quality.
Go for the swiss ones then...
