Hello from Cape Town - my experience thus far
A warm hello from Cape Town folks. Herewith my experience with reps thus far:
I recently order 2 watches from perfectwatches.cn. Having done a tiny bit of research they seemed to be the "safest" bet. Many other sites recommend them, the reviews on their site were good, so I bought a Zenith and a Montblanc. Due to their promotion I received a free Omega Seamaster. I have not received these watches yet and I expect them in around a weeks time (provided all goes well!). It is only now after doing some proper research that I have realized that they operate using shady tactics, the main one being setting up fake rep-review names and sites (watchreport.co/Thomas Wilson), praising their own websites and badmouthing other sites. This is absolutely not cool and I wish I had known this before I gave them my money.
So now it is time to buy my first rep from a TD. The first watch I am looking for is a 44mm PAM. I'm not yet entirely sure which model I will go for but I know it will be a PAM :) (I have 7inch wrists and I initially thought I should get a 40mm since my wrists are not the biggest, however these seem more difficult to come by and also I have read on many forums that the 44mm is the way to go and I will probably regret the 40mm as it looks a bit chunky, etc).
So that's my story in a nut shell. If you guys could recommend some excellent PAM dealers for me to have a look at what they offer, other than Trustys, puretime and ToroBravo which I have already discovered, I would be very appreciative. I am completely new to forums and am still learning the ropes. All the sections and all the text can be intimidating at first!
