Greetings from the U.S..
Hello Everyone,
Got myself into a little bit of trouble with reps. It first started off when I was introduced to this hobby by a close friend and having interest in Omega watches, I did myself a bit of research on the SMP. Planning to get one for my birthday, I decided to try a rep first. Bought one from PT and as I was waiting for it to arrive, I walked into a Omega boutique and needless to say, I walked out with a gen SMP, even before my rep arrived. I love both but this is all what started this addiction to come..
Anyway, now I've got my eyes on a Rolex Sub so I'm here to do research and learn as much as I can before committing to one. This time around, I'll be taking my time to see what options would be best for me.. Thanks!

Welcome Tomy. Glad to see another member on board from the states!
Yep, an addiction it can be. No worries though if you can afford it :) If you're eyeballing a rep Rollie sub, you can't go wrong with a TC sub. Most if not all will say TC makes the best rep sub. If you haven't already, check out his supporting vendor section and his blog.

Welcome Tomy you will love this place ! :)

The TC is the way to go if you just want the best classic submariner. He just released his new inserts which are damn near dead ringers for the gen insert. If you want a ceramic... then you have some research to do. :)

welcome and what Im about to say might sound a little crazy but if you can find a good used gen rolex for a good price, I would get the gen because they usually appreciate in value. if your strictly looking for a rep, get the TC like everyone suggested...
