Greetings from Las Vegas
Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum, another migrant from RWI which remains down.
I have enjoyed the rep world for about 10 years, when I purchased my first watch, a 40th anniversary 007 Omega Seamaster; it still runs beautifully. Over the years however, I have been burned more than delighted with transactions, and want to increase my knowledge to better arm myself against disappointment. This site is a treasure trove of information, and I like the passion members have for our hobby.
I’m planning my next acquisition; a Rolex 36mm Explorer 1016 rep. Already I have found several posts which will help me make a better informed choice.
Thanks all, and I look forward to the journey.

Welcome aboard my friend, sorry to hear you too have been burned by poor transactions, sadly you are not the first, and no doubt the last, but yes, you are quite right, learn as much as you can on any watch model, but always buy the seller first in any deal.
