Greetings from China, then Thailand, soon back to the USA where I belong
Hello, I currently live in Asia, though I am American. I'll be moving back in a month and will stop over in Thailand for a vacation (maybe see Archie Luxury while I am there?).
I own two Omegas (a Seamaster 200 and a PO), have owned maybe half a dozen, but recently was told that reps are getting so good "it's scary." A friend told me to check this site out and after reading through it all I can say is, it's daunting.
What I'd like to do is buy one single rep that is as good as they come, just to have and see if it fools my watch whore friends. I wouldn't want to make a habit of it.
The key is, I like water resistance. I like good quality. And I want it to be very close to the real deal so Rolex, Pan, Omega, AP, PP, whatever. Advice on what out there would make my eyes go super wide is welcomed and appreciated.
I don't want to be like a certain YouTube celebrity who got busted about his fake Patek despite never even showing a clear view of it. He still got nailed. So obviously it wasn't nearly good enough a rep.
Any good places in Bangkok to get a high quality rep? I will be there in two weeks. Beijing in three weeks (just overnight).
