Returning member after many years out of the rep game

Greeting from London, where I spend my morning commute rep-spotting on the Tube.

Got my first rep, a blue vignette dial Rolex Day Date when I was a teenager, a very long time ago in Australia. I was a member of RepGeek right on 10 years ago, active for a brief period, and picked up a rep here. It was an Omega Seamaster from a member in the U.S. - I know it was 10 years ago because I wore it to an info session for a university course, and got stuck on a train one stop from my destination, watching the time to the session start tick by on that Omega, but I can't for the life of me remember what username I had at the time. Many years and a few countries ago now.

Got back into the hobby back in April and am active over on RWI where I've made a couple of purchases and a sale, over here to learn what additional info I can. While I'm going gen this year after having an amazing Franken 16800 Rolex from a mod over at RWI, there are so many watches and between gen money and wait lists in London that I'd like to at least try out that reps are the only way!

Reps have progressed quite a bit during the last 10 years and there are many that are so good that it’s not worth buying the genuine version. Since you are over on RWI check out the “NWBIG” pages for a listing of the best of the reps.

Otherwise, enjoy your reps until you have enough money to buy the gens, and have a great time joining in the discussions here and over there.

Funny you'd mention the NWBIG list and that @mysterio would pop up over here, as as that list and some PMs between he and I saw me pick up a no longer made by factory Noob PAM390 from someone in M2M... and I believe mysterio got a couple of straps out of it too :)

I've had that many email addresses in the intervening 10 years, I really wouldn't bother hazarding a guess.
