Hey Yall from the deep south

Thanks for having a community for watch enthusiasts.

Own several gens over the years. Been a lurker for a few years on the rep stuff. Became friends with a watchmaker with experience in the rep game so i figured no better time to get into the scene. Hopefully, i post some pictures of projects as im in the process of buying a noob yachtmaster but happy my payment failed last week as it seems they have a newer version out.

Oh God... Florida is the "deep South"? I thought that was like... Kentucky/Alabama type thing. What am I saying... I'm surrounded by camo, pickups and rebel flags... Im in denial?!

Well if you got swap buggies, camouflaged everything, and just about every redneck thing imaginable. Hmmmm. Maybe it’s more country then you see!

Welcome to RG. You already have a great advantage by 'being friends with a watchmaker'. That's the equivalent of hitting the mother lode here.
I wonder how friendly he might be – willing to look at reps from members here perhaps?

Im sure he be more than willing as he is a member at all these rep sites. i just think he has enough work as of now.... i know i hit the mother lode..... If i didnt have access to someone that worked at 2 major authorized repair centers.... Id still be a lurker. I knew i needed to strike while the iron was hot. He is just as excited as i am about some of these projects. I really cant wait to get this party started.
