Hi, I am about to purchase a watch from a TD. Unfortunately he wont take paypal so payment will be through W/U. I have never transferred money in this way before. Is it acceptable to pay cash or should I ask for the TD`s bank details. Thanks jack

WU is a fairly standard form of payment and accepted by many TDs. Even if you ask for bank details, it's unlikely that you will get them.
This is the trade off when buying goods such as this, you may want to use your acceptable payment methods, but the TD will have theirs.
If you are unsure about WU, ask the TD what other methods are available. They don't always advertise them all on the website.
Hi Grapeshot, Many thanks for your help. The TD concerned has been most helpful so I think I shall bite the bullet
and pay cash. thanks again. jack
cash is king! :)
It's fairly common amongst TD's to only accept BTC, WU etc. for new customers. My experience is that if you have bought from the same TD several times, they will allow you to use PayPal.
