I sent my watch back to Andrew at Trusty Time two and a half months ago. It's been stuck in Chinese customs for two months. Now, when I track it, I get no tracking info. It was a Panerai and I loved it but I fear I'm out $400 and a nice watch.

I'm not sure what prompted you to return your watch to China, but it’s something I would never have done. If you had issues with the movement a rep friendly watchmaker could have sorted it out for you. Yes it would cost extra, but you would also get a service out of it. If it was the case or bracelet, then ordering replacements might have been a better bet and Andrew would have given you a good deal.
But don’t lose heart just yet as it could still suddenly turn up. In any event - Good luck.
Never ever send back a watch to China!!!!:(
It came back! But I've learned my lesson! lol
You cant send it back but ALWAYS ALWAYS send it back EMS express. If you send it back regular mail it will be stuck in customs like your parcel for months and months.
I've sent back over 30 watches to China no issues with EMS - they get it back within a week.
