Hello all, new here so please be gentle.

After perusing this board for the last day, I can’t really find what I’m looking for. I’m sure it’s there, but there’s a lot going on here. So I’ll just come out and tell you all what I’m trying to accomplish and that might be the best tactic.

I’m looking for a Tudor Black Bay (maroon bezel), but obviously I don’t want to shell out nearly $4K for it. Having worn an Omega Seamaster (a real one, I might add) I can count the number of times on one hand that someone’s said “Hey, nice watch” so I don’t see the need to drop that amount of cash on a new watch.

I read up on the Trusted Dealers, but some look a bit sketchy. I’m in the US and would prefer to buy from a company in the US, though I realize that might be difficult. Or if anyone has one of these they’re looking to unload – I’m all ears. I simply want it to work. I don’t expect the same level of quality that an OEM would provide, and I’m fine with being a poser. It’ll only be me who knows (or someone who’s really into watches).

Any help would be appreciated. Or if I’ve violated one of the cardinal rules, let me know and I’ll amend this.

Most TDs are in China (or therabouts) but there are a couple in your neck of the woods. WBK and BK have various models advertised, though not the Tudor that you are looking for.
Perhaps PM them and see if they can source it, otherwise you are having to go with a TD from the far east, Europe or maybe place a note in the Wanted section.

You will really limit your watch choices if you do not want to order from China directly, but I do understand your position anyway.

All of the TDs listed on here are vetted and vouched for, I doubt that you will be ripped dealing with them. Of course since they ship from China, the whole process from you placing an order,to,you receiving in hand might take upto 8 weeks (though in most cases, it’s more like 2-3 weeks from shipping). Also,the other advantage you have with the TD is that in case of any issues, the mods will step in to help. Also checking in M2M sections and posting in w2b sections might be helpful. Good luck mate!
