New Datejust band too small!!?

Hello!

I just purchased and received a DateJust II 126334 41mm and the band did not come with enough links to fit my wrist!? I mean, if I was 300lbs it might make sense but I am an average size guy - 5’11” 190 w average size bones.

The dealer wants $25 more to ship one extra link. I feel like I paid for a watch and shouldn’t have to pay extra to make it fit! Am I somehow being unreasonable?

I have done business with this dealer before and never had any issues. Always had great communication, great experience, and quality product. I just don’t quite get why a dealer wouldn’t go back to the factory and say “hey guys that watch was missing a link or two and you need to make it right”.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

How many links did it come with? Pictures might help. Also perhaps you can use the clasp adjustment and last link that you can fold out to make it fit better?
