Not entirely new to the watch world or reps. I have been lurkiAFT ng on here & other rep forums for a little while.

Bought my first rep at a gun show back in 1999/2000. It was a total POS, however, it actually kept a pretty good time. It was a cheap brass president.

Owning that watch led to briefly owning a gen submariner.

That led to owning a gen 5513.

I still have the 1967 5513 with the incorrect gen bracelet/clasp.

Also have rep GMT ARF pepsi with deep crystal.
