Better late than never: HI!
Hi there,
after beeing around here for about one year, I finaly decided to take some part in the "community life".
So why dont I start by introducing myself :-)
(I did so before - but feel like doing it better)
I am a watch addict from Germany. I am now into watches for about 4 years. It all was started by a Omega Dynamic I always wanted and finaly could afford.
After that purchase I started doing research on movements, brands, history. Then my dad brought me a (for my knowing back then) a very close to genuine GMT-Master from Hong-Kong just for fun.
I took the watch completely apart and so my watchsmith-hobby started.
Looking for a Unitas 6497 replacement about a year ago, google brought me to the rep-world - so here I am!
...okay that was 4 years ago - no I wont bore you with the complete story upd to today.
One more thing, I feel like letting you know:
Many of my friends say I am "too offensive on the first look" but actually a "nice guy". So if I am getting rude once to often or at all - just give me a shot across the bows - I'd appreciate.
One very last thing:
I became father of a girl just two weeks ago!!!
So far for now!
