A quick intro - I've been into watches for a while but found that I wasn't enjoying having a $1000+ item on my arm all day since I was too worried about messing it up. I moved back to cheaper watches for a few years, but the Milguass got me re-interested in higher-priced stuff. Needless to say, if I can't handle a $1000 watch on my arm, I definitely don't want a $13K watch on my arm, so that led me here. I'm thinking of starting with a Submariner to judge the quality for myself and then picking up a few other items as I go. I'd love to find a nice Grand Seiko rep, but apparently those aren't really a thing, so maybe I'll actually save up for one of those.
