Hello from MN

Hey guys. My name is Mendota and I am a Repgeekaholic. I literally stumbled onto this site about a month ago and since then I have become an addict. I even set my homepage to Repgeek. I love the search function and I use it daily. Although I am hooked on reading the posts I have been trying to contribute from time to time. My favorites are Rolex, Patek and Omega, but wow, have you seen the new Seiko Kinetic line? Just flipped through their insert in the new "Men's Health" magazine. Who on Earth would have thought a Seiko could go for $3500?

Anyway, I have been working up the courage now to try my hand at a little modding. My next goal is to learn how to work with lume, so I have been using the search function like crazy. I know, it's a pretty lofty goal with a high failure rate. We'll see.

Oh, this is cool. There is a town nearby my wife's hometown called Sparta. Their mascot is a Roman soldier with a big S on his breastplate. Anyway, on our last drive through there I told her I had to pull over to take a picture of the "Welcome to Sparta" sign. She asked what on Earth for, so I had to fess up and tell her about Repgeek. She laughed and told me I was, indeed, a geek. She helped me get a good shot, though. God bless her! I'll post the pic soon.
