Howdy, and I already have a question!

I've been lurking for a month or so and even bought a few watches already. I'm hooked!

I love all the information, but I need some help with the Search function.

I can't figure out how to make the Search function include all words, i.e. all words have to be found for a "hit." I've tried adding a + in front of each word, but that doesn't do it.

I noticed that the F.A.Q. Search function has an option in a drop-down box, to include all words, but I can't find it in the normal/advanced search function.

Thanks again for all the great info...and any help with the Search function would be greatly appreciated!

I got started when my wife let me buy a gen 1956 Omega Seamaster (matches my birth year) for my birthday! I started researching to try to determine whether I was buying a gen, or "fake." Now I know to call it a "rep." :)

Due to my screwup (I forgot to cancel an eSnipe bid after winning the first watch), I ended up with two 1956 Omegas, a Seamaster and a Constellation; both beautiful.

During my research, I discovered the many rep sites on the internet, but didn't trust them. I finally stumbled across this site, as well as RWG.

I'm addicted! My collection now includes:

-The two gen Omegas
-42mm Omega P.O. rep orange bezel(2nd generation)
-Gen Tissot T-Touch Expert
-Omega SMP Chrono rep
-TAG Link rep and Rolex DateJust rep for my wife

On Order:

-BK WM9 V2 Sub
-45mm Omega P.O. rep (not UPO)
-Cheap GMT MasterII vintage bezel rep
-Panerai 111h rep

Some of the above are planned as Christmas Gifts, but I'm trying to start a great collection before my wife catches on... :D

Enclose the search in quotations and that will give you the best results. However we have a very not so friendly search engine. Im hoping to have this corrected very soon.

Geekbux can be used for raffles and in the casino.

That's just wrong! I am not sure I have ever one a hand in this casino, it just likes to eat my geekbux. Maybe you have the touch joe.

Good thought BTW about collecting before the wife catches on, but then trying to explain where all those watches came from becomes the problem... so you can now tell here you won them playing poker in the casio :rolleyes:

That's why I got her the TAG and Rolex. When she see's them at Christmas (and yes, I'm barely smart enough to let her know they aren't real), I'm hoping she'll have a better appreciation for my new hobby!

This brings up another question. On average, what do you guys think should be the ratio of reps for me to reps for her? :undecided:
