Custom Watch category in Main?

I don't know how much interest there might be or if you want to try it out...getting input for our Mod guys would be important.

I feel the Mod section points us in the direction of having a Rep mod job done. From what I have read all of our Mod'ers are into custom watch making, non-brand or their own brand watch. None of the other watch sites I have been to have a section for this but there are always people trying to find info on this.

How about adding a Custom Watch category in the Main section. I think that you have 3 types of watch enthusiasts here. Those that are into Rep watches, those into Custom watches, and those into ALL watches. I found RPG by looking for someone that could custom make a 'homage' style watch for me, and I found him.

Anyway...there is limited room for discussion posting directly onto the Mod Section. This area is best for contact with each specific Mod'er. If we had a Custom Watch category it might showcase the work that the guys and gals do here a little better, stir up more interest in the custom watch making, bring more ideas to the Mod'ers for projects and types of watches to make.

I know this is a Rep based watch site but you have a great niche for something more with the collection of talent that hangs out here. I have my custom watch on order and I have ideas for about 4 or 5 more.

All of us will come to a point when you have an ideal watch you want but don't find it in the brands.... Solution: Make your own custom!

move my section to the custom area...that's all i do anyways lol.

I think it would be cool to see our Mod guys do a watch build off (Discovery Channel'ish). Pair them up...give them a case...and see what they can do with it! A few photos...some Q&A...then unveil them and have the members vote on the favorite. Do this throughout the year and give out the Mod Master of the year award. :starwarsfight:

This would all be in fun and I hope generate more interest in custom watches. Also showoff what our guys can do.

Sweet! I love the idea. Customs are like a whole new level I'm exploring and really having fun with the possibilities. Talk about a conversation piece and no worries of being called out! Build it or have it commissioned and flaunt the hell out of it! :woot:

Good idea BWP....I've seen Vac's and Flav's personal un-branded watches and posts and they are quality piece's...would love to see the pro member's in here start working on custom watches with these great mod folks!
