Hi from Australia

G'Day Repgeeks, My name is Andy. I'm from Brisbane, Australia. I joined only a couple of weeks ago and i cant seem to go a day without looking through this site. As you all say it will get very addictive. I am very interested in getting my first rep (either a Breitling for bently or a Rolex daytona). I am slowly learning about the movements and all other things watch related. Im sure i will work all this out in time though. I just have one question i cant find an answer to.

I was wondering if there is any dealer that is better to use when ordering to Australia? or even a dealer in Australia?

There are no dealers in Australia that I know of, ajoe offers some services though like AR coatings etc. If you want to order a watch off a website any of the dealers here will look after you. The ones most highly recommended and talked about, are for a reason, particularly when it comes to service before and after the sale. The US based dealers are all excellent too.

I don't think I have ever heard of anyone having any customs issues in Australia, I certainly haven't, they have more important things to worry about. I bought and sold gens for years too and never once had one scrutinized by customs, it is just not an issue to them, unless you tried importing a truckload of them to sell :P
