Hey guys. A big thumbs up for you, this seems a great forum with a huge amount of useful info - thanks so much for taking the time to run it.

I enjoy owning beautiful watches but gave up collecting a few years back - just could not justify spending all those £££ on items that sit in the drawer most of the time. Good replicas to me seem a perfect compromise - I don't want to fool people that I can afford a £5000 watch - I can't - I just enjoy watches as things of beauty - period. And if having replicas mean I can enjoy a wider selection that is just perfect :)

Having dabbled with one or two replicas 10-20 years ago I dumped them - the ones I got then (from a stall in a Turkish market with a sign saying 'Cheaper than Woolworths' :lol: ) were awful. But doing some reading now it seems that they have become collectible in their own right and as such the quality has drastically improved. So I look forward to doing much reading on this site and expanding my collection. Cheers, Nick
