A new addict
Hello!
I'm so glad I found this place. I like so many others was nearly duped by idealwatches.com and sites like it. Fortunately I did some more detailed searching before commiting and found Repgeek and RWG. Whew!
I've always liked watches, but have only owned a couple of nice ones. The highest quality I've bought myself was an Omega Seamaster Professional, the Bond type which I bought several years ago. Its still running strong and is my daily watch. It wasn't until I was given a gift of a Ulysse Nardin Sonata that I became aware of how beautiful watches can be. That watch really sparked my need to begin collecting attractive watches.
Since I can't afford to buy a watch like that or many of the others I drooled over in my subsequent browsing, I decided to start looking for replicas to fuel my addiction. That eventually led me here. After doing much reading over the last week I made my first rep purchase today! A white Breitling Bentley large date from Josh. If its as nice as I imagine, it will almost certainly be the first of many.

Welcome to RepGeek. You're gonna like that Bentley when you get it. Great first choice. Like you I spent forever looking at all those scam sites and contemplating a purchase from them before I stumbled across forums like this one. There is a wealth of information and great members who are willing to help with just about anything or find an answer for you. Can't wait to see pics of the Bentley when you get it.

I'm sure we've all come close to sites like that at one point and almost made a purchase. I had come across another forum like this at one point a while back and thought I should look for it again. I came across RG and was so happy I did. I don't know if there is another site as good as RG thats dedicated to our hobby, and has as much informaiton as they do!
