I'll be expecting a Vintage Comex Sub in soon, and will want to take it to bits to distress it... age the dial, make the steel look old somehow and age the bezel too, probably popping out or replacing the pearl with siomething more authentic.
I have never done anything like this before: don't know how to remove bezel (have checked some posts and videos here), don't know how to get the dial in my hands, ie don't know how to remove the back and then the hands, movement etc to separate the dial. Don't know how to age it (any of it!)
Don't know what tools required, what skill levels etc etc etc.
Jeez, I gotta go to bed. That's whacked me.

Yes, I see that there are some good dealers here.
UK dealers I am particularly interested in because of customs issues.
Having trouble with Precious Time's site, no prices or payment options seem available. Also difficult to get an overview of watches because of the way the site is designed, IMHO at least.
