Welcome to RepGeek!
Cheers, Happy Holidays and enjoy the site.
Welcome.. Just north of Dallas here.
Enjoy the forum.
Welcome! However, Dallas is the worst spot for having reps shipped to. Be careful and most of the dealers will not even ship to an address in Texas. You need to find a 'forwarder' outside of Texas.
welcome, read and enjoy!
Welcome. This is a great place to learn about watches. Please use the search. Search is your friend! :p
Hello from Houston!
The rumor about shipping watches to Texas is FALSE! I have been collecting reps for over 20 years now and NEVER had a problem. (knock on wood! lol)
All mine go thru JFK customs in NY. It all has to do with what carrier is used and how it is packages. Always have them send it EMS...all the other carriers are lots stricter on customs. USPS delivers EMS mail from China. They could care less about what is in the packages!
Happy collecting!

@indybeetta - I am in Houston too. How do you manage customs in JFK? What dealers have you been working with recently? Thanks
Hont and some dealers in Singapore that I use from time to time to find "special"reps. They usually have a sticker on them saying JFK on them or I can track them on the USPS website when they are sent via EMS.
Welcome from another DFW'er.
I have not had any customs issues with my watches either. Also, there are US based dealers (Sead1999, for example) that do the customs risks for you... and are usually cheaper than many of the main dealers here. Lots of good reading here on the forum. Enjoy your stay!
