New guy from London

Hi all,
I've been a member of RWI and RWG for quite some time now but I have always been hearing that Rep Geek is the biggest so here I am!

I have a lovely Graham Swordfish bought from WatchEden which is almost gen like and is running well, and recently bought the updated V5 DSSD from Eurotimez which is also excellent.

My current project is making my PAM 127 more genlike.
I've sent the CG to the Zigmeister for a new pin and making it flush and stiff.
I'm also sending the case away to a recommended guy in Germany to get the horrible blue AR off and put on a much more gen like clear/slightly light purple AR.

Now trying to find an excellent dial for the 127 which has a whiter font and then I'll be done!

Domi on RWG does AR in German Land. As well as luming servicing etc etc great work good guy

The guy I found has the username of FineDD over on RWI...his name is Uwe (German)

Some other members have used him and and he comes highly recommended so I've sent the fiddy to him.

He actually works with Domi!.....Domi removes the movement and crystal and then Uwe will remove the blue AR that you see on many PAM reps and then apply his own AR which is very gen like.

I should get it back at the end of Jan.....at which point the Zigmeister should have posted back my CG too....

Forgive me in saying this, but is it worth the trouble now to build a Fiddy? The parts needed and the dial you want to find (which probably need to be gen and not really sure how to get one). The dome crystal which has to be the right "porportion" of dome when the curvature doesn't fully distort the numbers (my last read on a standard noob crystal definitely not gen like). The movement has to be gold leaf with Y incabloc. The CG needs to be all redone with the right feel when it opens.

This is just on top of my head. With Pams prices being all time low (Asking £13K), wouldn't it be a logical move to invest your money and energy on a gen if you bargain?
