Hi Rep Collectors
Hi All,
I've been interested in watches since I was a kid back in the 1970s.
Over the years, I've owned loads of watches and I even had a no-date Sub at one time.
I've been looking at replicas for several years but I only bought mine a few days ago. I have a Submariner with an ETA 2836 movement.
So far, I am very pleased with the quality of it and I consider it to have been excellent value for money. The fit and finish, of the case components, is very good and it even feels like the real thing!
I have found this forum very helpful and there are some excellent reviews by By-Tor, who takes some superb photographs and he also has an excellent taste in music ;) .
My wife has just bought me a SMP chronograph which should arrive in a few days time.
My next purchase will be a Sea-Dweller from River.
Thanks for reading my short introduction and I look forward to contributing to this excellent forum.
Happy New Year to you all.
Cheers,
Ian
