Haha, come on Robbie, those vintage Rollers aren't that expensive. Pretty sure you could get one. Mine's a Mulliner Park Ward, so you pay a slight premium for that, but there's plenty of stock LHD Silver Spirits/Spurs in nice condition available for sale for the same money as you pay for a W221 or a C216. Ones with chipped paint, rust, minor engine damage or RHD configuration go for less (sometimes MUCH less) than that.

Hahaha still searching there's one I've got my eye on... It's a V221 and it's fully loaded with option. The only thing wich is not there is distronic... But who cares you need to get close to the cars in front of you so they will go out of the way hahahahaha. The history of the car is perfect, first owner is MB Netherlands, but the problem is the price. The seller is asking a "dream-price" allready have tried to negotiate but he doesn't seem to go any lower. Funniest thing is that the seller does not know it's an ex car from MB NL hahaha. Well I call him on saturday again for a small visit (lives 1.15 hours away from my home) and try to negotiate again since the car isn't sold yet. I think it wouldn't get sold also in a short period since his price is more than € 3.000,- higher than others from the same year...
I'm still looking for my black S500 in langversion... properly equipped of course! W221/V221 comes with so many options it's hard to keep track of them all. When i'll get it i'll make sure to post some pics!
The one I've got my eye on is a V-Version and comes also with adjustable seats in the back incl. cooling and warming seats, blindfolds etc. again really fully loaded only no distronic. And it's silver exterior and black interior.
I love the additional options in the back. I'm on a hunt for an S500 with the whole sha-bang at the back, from heated and ventilated seats to headrest monitors. Preferably with a fridge and the wooden divider/compartment between the seats, effectively making the car a 4-seater.Quote:
