Im having a watch at domi. I have been in contact with him by email before i sent my watch to him, but now i havent heard from him since i sent the watch and that was a little more than 2 month ago. I did send one email about one month ago just to check in but no answer. I belive that spamming emails to him wont help anything. And I dont want to bother him. I guess he has alot on his table atm. So ill ask here, has any one else been in contact with him the last 2 month?
Yes man, do not worry ! Domi is a straight up guy, You will get your watch back in an immaculate state. he does not reply to email as he is extremely busy as you can imagine, as soon as your watch is ready he will revert to you. Expect 3 months waiting time in average. 2-4... beyond 4 months you can start to make inquiries. before 4 months it is part of his usual turnaround...
hoope this helps, I modded more then 10 pieces with him... so at the beginning I went through the same worries that you are experiencing now... :)
patience is key in this hobby :)
The last watch I've sent to Domi, a Sea Dweller which was not "automatic" anymore, took 6 months to be "repaired".
But 1 day after I received it, it was obviously not repaired.
So I gave up sending watches to him.
That's too bad, because I've had several good experiences with Domi.
I have just received my AP Rubberclad secs@12 mod and service & a Rolex GMT II serviced. Both waterproofed to 3atm.
Took just over 12 weeks as started by Domi and could not be happier.
Patience is the key. He gave me a time frame and delivered. Always remember to supply a note when sending him watches.
Both watches are performing brilliantly. Could not be happier.
