I think the 100 post rule is silly
Many people only read so never get to 100
Simplest way is ONLY VIP members allowed to sell and finish with it
Would take all the work off Admin and Mods checking to see if the latest members 100 posts were resirection posts
Or Nice watch GLWS posts
Selling is a privilege that should only be available to members who contribute something to the forum and to save all the hard work of checking their thread quality just say VIP or no sale

You know what also would be a good rule...
A minimum post count for buying a watch, I have sold a watch a couple of times, held it for a few days waiting for payment, and nothing.
This has hapened a couple of times to me now, and i guess it happens to a lot of us:(

So i vote for a minimum post count for buyers to...

I'm too struggling to get to 100 posts to become a member as there are a number of members who are either quicker on the ball and have already said what I was thinking and therefore there is no point trying to say it again.

I'm also in favour of the 100 posts before being able to sell. It's like raising pre-flop in Poker, it shows who is serious from who's not around here...

Well I can see how that prevents it. I have been a memeber of this forum for almost 2 years now AND STILL CANT POST SALES.

I can not tell you my frusturation at that fact.

I personally really like to give involved modding answers and questions (see my work on PAMs and Rollies)... but I refuse to resort to just posting spam. If members want to sell watches in a reasonable time the post count forces you to post and counts the post regardless of the level of content.

and on RWG you MUST be a paying/paid up member to sell (as in VIP) - so being a VIP alone is no security at all.

100 posts and VIP is a way to go.............:D
