Hi Posh, very creative!
Could I also have the vendor details, please?
Hi Posh, very creative!
Could I also have the vendor details, please?
Yes, indeed! I slapped it together as quick as I could so people would have some info for the upcoming holidays. Birkins have started getting really popular lately. I guess austerity measures are out the window around here!
I'm happy it was fun for you to read. Keep the love coming. PM sent to you shortly. Catching up on PMs now!
Thanks, Rovin! Comin' atcha in a sec!
Totally understand and will be sending it along with everyone else's!
Nice pictorial post Posh.
I think you are the first female (as far as I know) to wear a 44mm Panerai.
I thought it would look big but it really doesn't. Starting a new trend are you? :)
Keep up the great work and oh I love the P car.
Posh ,
The pictures are amazing and the bag is well ... SPECTACULAR !!!! .... and the 44mm Panerai is not too big it is PERFECT !!!! ..... Keep up the good work and the pics ... I love reading your posts ... Actually I think it is more the idea that my wife loves me reading your posts it leads to more toys for her too !!!!
Thanks,
SA
Very nice
Yeah, it is. I had to pick up the pace to get it done. I got Birkin inquiries all at once prior to posting it. I couldn't procrastinate any more. I'd had the bag for a while before writing and hadn't carried it until I took pictures.
Sent the info!
Thanks! There was a British lady, so I'm told, that wore Panerais and posted here just before I joined up years ago. People thought I was her until I made it clear I didn't like those watches. LOL
With a fully loaded Birkin, a Venti Starbucks and this watch on one arm, I would fall over. All that stuff is entirely too heavy!
However, I did get compliments on it that day. I also banged it against a door frame. It's anything but low profile.
Dear Secret Agent Man,
I'm excited that you blew your cover in order to let me know how you felt about my post. It's evens like these that make it well worth my time. And if I can assist women everywhere in draining the financial resources of their men, I will. Wherever there is a pre-nup, I'll be there.

Well, unless Hell has frozen over, you won't catch me in it often. Although, it is
looking at me again . . .
Santi, merci! Keep reading! :cheesy:
Such a nice bag and car! Wish I met your requirements for vendor info. My gf would die for that bag. Please Pm me if you reconsider!
Hilarious..!!

Hey Posh I know I dont meet the requirements but could you send the info to me out of holiday spirits anyways ? :D
Triple-D kindly directed me here
What a rap! I haven't heard one of those since the summer of love in '67 or at the great hippy Christmas party in Goa in '68. It made me smile.
All seriousness aside, I just ordered a Hermes Kelly wallet from JL. Looked good but yet to be delivered. Love your opinion on his Hermes bags (via PM if you prefer).
Thanks, Guy! You can meet the requirments, you just have to believe! It's that time of year, when magic happens. :)
Tee hee!
Less Than Zero
Oh, he did, did he? Then he may have also told you I was an evil woman with no heart. Bah humbug to your holiday spirit! :p
Um, okay. LOL I'd be happy to help! PM me the relevant info, love, and I'll let you know what's what, if I can.
Who needs a BIRKIN!? - we "have" you! Thanks for spending some time on us!
A top class review from the TOP CLASS woman!!
Thanks, y'all! I hope you all have a Merry Christmas!
How did I miss this for so long?
Posh - brilliantly conceived and executed - thread of the year for me, thoroughly enjoyed it, great script writing !
Merry Christmas............
hey Posh. i am still saving for my Birkin but had a question about leather textures. i don't like a lot of that leather grain so i want something fairly smooth. which one is more smooth Epsom or Clemence? thanks!
Well, epsom is smoother than clemence but if you want an ultra-smooth look then box calf is your best bet. That is the smoothest of them all, in my opinion. It isn't as scratch-resistant as either epsom or clemence. If that kind of durability is important to you, you may want to stick with epsom. However, epsom tends to make the colors paler and lacks the hand of the other leathers, a richness that box calf oozes by the way. You give all that up but what you retain is its ability to hold its shape better over time. It's also lighter than clemence which is nice if you prefer larger Birkins.
Box calf has no problem with color saturation and that may be something to consider.
What a nice bag and great pictures. May I please have a PM with some purchasing info? THANKS!!!!
Great write up, as always!!! Many thanks for sharing!!!
Greatly enjoyed the photo shoot and story.
If you have time could you PM me the source for the bag and approx. cost?
Thanks again
I'm so sorry! I'm sending it along now.
The Panamera is not an especially good-looking car. My E350 looks much better. It's a little ungainly, kinda doing the humpback thing. But . . . it's fast. :cheesy: I like going fast and taking corners at speeds that would be considered slightly dangerous. I love the way it handles. LOL
It's also cozy. I like cozy. :)
Posh, need some advice.
Wife has gen LV, Gucci, Balenciaga bags. I've been telling her that there are remarkable rep bags available that would be nearly indistinguishable from the gen. I keep trying to convince her of trying one, but she's absolutely convinced that reps are reps, and are in no way close to gen.
She also believes guys on these forums have no idea what makes a rep bag good since well, we're all guys.
Any ideas on how I can convince her and which rep bag to start with?
Thanks

Stellar post… I hope you won't refuse me the name of your supplier! ;)
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this post as well as the time and effort that went into making it. Please feel free to continue making more posts like this as I am looking forward to reading them. I think the wifey would love a Birkin.
Well, that's a totally unsolicited compliment that I wasn't expecting at all! A Birkin is mainstay in any collection. It's too simple to be offensive and will work season after season with just about any outfit, except sweats! LOL

I came for the comment and stayed for the quote. Thanks and the PM has been sent!:)
Amazing right up and great pics to go along with it and would love to pick one up for the wife. Thanks for you effort Posh!
Thank you again for sharing!
I'd love to surprise my lovely wife with one of these. The quality and effort that they so obviously put into this makes it a must. Please let me know how I can contact your source.
So I would look anemic huh? Guess that idea is out of the window, I hate my skinny wrists...
I swear I could be 400 pounds and my wrists would still just equal your feminine wrists because of my genetics...
Working out hasn't helped at all either... Maybe I should just let them transfer some assfat...
Man, getting to a hundred post is going to be a lot of work, but I don't think my girlfriend could pull off a Birkin anyway the way she dresses >.>
Great write-up as always Posh!
...Some people get all the talent, it's not fair I tell you! (j/k I know you work hard)
Edit: didn't realise I was already up to 75, when did I get a lot chattier?
You're welcome! And you've got mail!
Thank you, Russ! If you've ever seen the Olsen twins, you'll know that an ensemble doesn't have to be exactly elegant to include a Birkin. Your girlfriend will be in good company.

The day I took the pictures I was in my traveling clothes: yoga pants, my Addidas, track jacket and an LV scarf. But if I'm gonna spend hours in a car, I'm not wearing an evening gown. LOL
