Now this thread motivates me to buy yet another rep.... Why do u ppl do that.. Why
Because we like to be "enablers" to one another.
;) i guess its true
This is easily the most focused yet well-rounded forum I have ever been a part of. Satisfying indeed.
New kid on the block here.
Thanks for the warning. It's a tad too late for me though.
With 30+ watches (and a project watch and the lew and huey watch both pre ordered) currently I've found I'm bored of gen affordables and lusting after nicer pieces. But the heart desires what the wallet can not afford. So I find myself among you gents.
Thank you or having me, and thanks in advance for the wealth of knowledge you freely share.
For kicks here's my current collection.

It is as if you have stashed together all of your most precious luxuries (watches, cigars, cologne, whiskey, etc.) in one sacred shrine with an attack dog watching over it.
Good work man.
Love this site!!!! Its to late.....
I had a cheapie Tag day/date and recently lost it... been lurking for awhile and realized I needed a new watch. Somehow fell in love with these PAMS and now I have a 111 and 089 on the way and $300 in straps from Gunny. I can tell this is going to become a "problem"!
Just stumbled onto this thread, good one... addicted...says who... now I have to get back to the sales threads....
I don't have a problem. I just need more watches.
:cheesy:
Too Late...
I just received my Breitling fromk Andrew at trustytime and now am hooked....
Just pulled the trigger on my first rep from nemboscorner.
You guys are awful
All sins tend to be addictive, and the terminal point of addiction is damnation...
this thread is way too late for me :cheesy:
^ Yeah no kidding, for me as well. This is the second forum I'm on now!
Noted. Haha!
To late for me to, been in the hobby for about a year. Now I have about 30 reps.....and an empty wallet but a smiling face
I've found there is a common thread among people that appreciate the mechanical nature of things, DIY activities, modifying things and so on....lots of car people are also watch people, for example.
you even get this addicted that you buy a gen one... its sick.. I know... When I bought my first rolex rep I thought what idiots pay big money for the gen ones. Stupid bricks! Now I`ve got a gen one too and still hunting for good replicas.
How can u not buy a TC? How can u not buy a BP 16600? :-)
Hello fellow Kentuckian, where abouts you live?? lol notice that intentional country slang I threw in there :P... I know... iim a dork
As far as the black hole of watch collecting... started with vintage pieces about two years ago and that was bad enough
These days I view the forums everyday... im apart of 4 (rep/homage)
Ive only purchased 2 which 1 I sold already
but I have a TC YM in the mail
and im contempting several other purchases at this time... so its safe to say I'm consumed lol
I have entered the rep realm... my first post, but will I escape :pirate:
its too late... been around for some time now.
After spending hours a day up here and buying more than half a dozen reps I forced myself to turn away. But now I'm back and ready to get some more!
I tried to escape the urge..... Didn't work...now that I already started reading all this here on this forum your warning came to late.....
i started buying 300ish pams, checked them all out, to know owning a couple of modded Aps, and now entering in the tourbys world. But i seriously gave myself a 10k collection value limit !! Hope i will be strong enough...
but i must say now i am the first one to answer when someone ask about current time , and not by shwing time on my iphone ;)...
oh gosh we have actually been warned LOL
I think I have become quite disciplined in this hobby now, I'm finding it a lot easier to flip watches I don't have any need, i don't wear this and resist buying ones.
Love what you buy, love what you wear
"There are more than 1 road to Rome...."
I i'm too late to read this forum i so quite well disciplined on this forum, This is true. i got 10 reps one weeks ago and are all ready about to order more because i loved Watches.
hahahahaha fact
no hope here : (
On my honour, I haven’t bought a rep in Oh, at least thirty five minutes. A Molnija movement on eBay doesn’t count, it’s not a rep, not yet anyway😀
I’ve long been on a road to hell and destruction, but I’m taking the scenic route
Hi all, Im new to buying replicas myself, so just after a little bit of advice.
