Hi. My name is Dan and I'm a new member. I have been collecting reps for some 40 years. I have some 55 really good reps and I can't count as high as the number of reps I have bought over the years that were......less then acceptable. I visit China often and have had the opportunity to see a lot of choices and levels of quality.
I just came across this website, a very pleasant surprise cuz this past Friday I placed an order for two watches from watchPrices.net without checking them out first. I have not gotten an order confirmation yet, now 4 days later and came across this website while searching for some signs of reputation, soemthing I certainly should have done first. I hope you get the watches you ordered and they at least meet your expectations. You can buy from established RG members with confidence as we know the feeling too well that comes with getting stiffed or scammed by unscrupulous dealers and private sellers.
Read all you can from the many tutorials and reviews here at RG before you start buying. That's the best advice I can offer from personal experience.

I am a noob here and also a member at RWI. I have found these forums interesting and educational. I have only made three purchases but and I have made a couple of noob mistakes but oh well here i am and feel as though its a safe place to learn.
Well I got interested in replicas ( formerly known as knock-offs) when I started to travel to the Far East back in 1996. For a 11 year period my business required me to travel to Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Japan and the Phillipines. After every trip I would arrive home with replica Tags, Rolex, Movado, Rado and most never lasted longer than a few months without something going wrong.
I fianally purchased a genuine Tag Professional 2000 quartz that I still have today. Still the bug for something different took hold and my wife wondered what was wrong with me.
Well now that I found this website I just ordered Breit SuperOcean and Omega UPO from Robert and the bug has taken a big bit out of me.

Quick message to say Hi to everyone. I really don't know anything about REP watches and most of the things you guys are talking about in your Threads totally go over my head :eek: .
Have seen quite a few REP watches while traveling Asia for several years but don't think they were anywhere near the quality here (Most were 5 - 10 pounds from market stalls (Even though one of them lasted me over 2 years:lol: ).
Recently decided to look for a TAG and found this site and looks like all of you know what you're talking about and VERY nice to find people that take pride in their hobby and give such valuable info.
Anyway, Thought I'd say hello before searching for stuff to buy (looking at these watches, I think I'll end up buying a few!!).
